Nokia's answer to Iphone/TouchScreen Phone's - Nokia Tube/5800

Till now Nokia was known for its durable candybar, clamshell and sliding phones. But it was lagging behind in the world of touch screen phones like the Apple Iphone,Samsung Omnia,SE Xperia,LG Renoir,HTC Diamond,Imate Ultimate and others. Here is a quick look at the best Touch Screen phones of the recent times:

Sony Ericsson Xperia Samsung Omnia

  Iphone

True Nokia lovers like me who always wanted a touchscreen phone without loosing the Nokia User-Interface & features can rejoice now as their wait is finally over with the Nokia Tube/Nokia 5800:

Formerly known as Nokia Tube, the first S60 handset to feature touchscreen technology will run on the new edition of the OS - Symbian S60 Taco 5.0. Despite packing a generous 3.2-inch screen with the exciting widescreen resolution of 640 x 360 pixels Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will be more of an upper midrange than a high-end device. It will come complete with a 3.2 megapixel autofocus shooter, and will be able to capture videos at up to VGA resolution at 30 fps.

The Nokia 5800 will measure 111 x 52 x 15.5mm and will come with quad-band GSM support and 3G with HSDPA. The weight is also quite acceptable, standing at 109 grams. Some of the other extras include: GPS, 3.5mm standard audio jack, TV-out and a microSD card slot. According to the reviewer the handset will also have an 8GB card included in the retail package.

For those who thought E71 was the best E-series phone yet!!

As everybody knows how impressed & obsessed I've been when it comes to the Nokia E61.Nikhil using the same phone for 2years i.e. from the day it was launched till date is like a shock for people who are aware that I change phones at the speed of light Tongue out.

Well, there have been lot of changes since July 06 when I bought my first E-series device that is the good old E61.The first noticeable change was the Nokia E61i that was slicker and had a decent 2mp camera in it.But that wasn't enough for me to discard my good old E61 so I decided to wait till an entirely new E-series device with QWERTY keyboard is launched.
